SHORE utilizes Risk Assessment Vulnerability Assessment (RAVA) which is designed to quantitatively measure threats, assets, vulnerabilities, and risk associated with large or small facilities. The assessment also optimizes features, explores upgrades, and then recalculates vulnerabilities and risk with improvements made to the facilities.
In essence, RAVA identifies current levels of vulnerability and risk and identifies optimized (improved) levels with the implementation of specified countermeasures and improvements to include the Threat, Target, Vulnerability, Optimization, Risk, and Cost Benefit Analyses.
